Certificate issued by the Jewish Combat Organization in Grodzisk, on ŻOB letterhead: “We hereby certify that cit. Bełchatowska [surname in expanded font] Chajka was an active member of the Ż.O.B. from January 1943 to May 1943 and took part in the defence of the Warsaw ghetto. | Then from 15 May 1943 to 22 August 1943 she was a member of the Jewish Partisan Group in the Wyszków forests”. The certificate was signed by Capt. Marek Edelman (“in lieu of Commandant”). To the left of the signature there is a round purple stamp: , “Żydowska Organizacja Bojowa | * Warszawa * || KOMENDA GŁÓWNA” (Jewish Combat Organization | *Warsaw* || HEADQUARTERS) - the last two words are located not along the round edge but in the centre of the stamp.
