Crown with bells and crown with lilies

Chmielewska, Iwona (1960- )

The first of the drawings complementing the image of Maciuś the First without a crown (MPOLIN-M426) - drawings of crowns incorporated into various headgear, symbolising the various branches that operate in countries. At the top of this composition one can see a red and yellow crown (single-coloured rhomboids with small golden squares in the centre), with bells crowning the peaks; at the bottom a green crown with a decorative violet stripe, and at each of the peaks a golden rhombus with a lily motif. The crowns, as they may be understood, symbolise entertainment (the crown alluding to the circus, also to music) and education (the lily referring to scouting).
