Friend of the Museum

Walentynowicz, Katarzyna (1986- )

Depiction of a friendly looking, elderly woman in glasses. The drawing fills almost the entire page (the upper line of hair on the verge of perforation). The woman is dressed in black (a blouse or a sweater with white circles and black collar – outlined by white lines). Her hair is black, with some white wavy lines. The face is not entirely outlined, only the chin is marked with a line. Next to the figure’s right, on her lip’s height, another wider smile was drawn (to switch during the project’s installation). Overleaf some preliminary drafts of an animal’s head (a cow or a horse) made with a fine liner.

The figure is an element of the visuals for the POLIN Museum Friends Club (usage: posters, leaflets, sheet for screens in the museum’s space, online banner, card cases of Museum Friends Club, envelopes for tickets). More information about the Club – see: https://www.polin.pl/pl/klub
