Group photograph in front of Stanisław Szymański's villa in Zawiercie

It is probably a group photograph of a group of mainly employees of the Zawiercie Joint Stock Society (Towarzystwo Akcyjne Zawiercie), on the steps of Director Stanisław Szymański's villa. Among them, Józef Mamelok, Halina née Baruch's husband, his figure being indicated near the upper edge of the preserved part of the cardboard; he was the Society's commercial director (the 'List of subscribers of the National Telephone Network of the Krakow District of the Post and Telegraph Directorate. As of 31 December 1924' mentions him also at the Zagłębie Society of Chemical Factories; his other functions included also a plenipotence of the Ropes and Wire Factory in Sosnowiec). Only three women are pictures, perhaps form Director Szymański's family. The Szymańskis' villa was erected in the late 19th century as part of Zawiercie Joint Stock Society's housing project: the TAZ estate (entered in the register of monuments in 1991; currently, the villa functions as a library). The border of the cardboard to which the photo was attached was originally much larger, but it has been made smaller by cropping (carelessly).
