Wójcik, Jaśmina (1983-)

The scene depicts the banishment of Jews from their own homes in Kazimierz Dolny by Nazi soldiers and their forced relocation to the ghetto, as well as the acts of looting and violence against Jewish civilians that accompanied the resettlement action. During World War II, the Germans established a ghetto and forced labour camp in Kazimierz Dolny. In March 1942, during the ghetto liquidation operation, approx. three thousand Jews were taken to the transit camp in Opole Lubelskie and then to the extermination camp in Belzec. MBK
