Letter to Luba Blum-Bielicka

Letter from a former ward of Luba Blum-Bielicka, signed by the author as 'Joasia', sent from France shortly before her departure to Palestine.

The author of the letter describes, among other things, her emotions related to leaving Poland and her longing for the time spent under Blum’s care (opening line: “I miss the little yellow house in Otwock so terribly”).

The letter is written on two sheets (bifolium), in blue ink, with text on both sides.
