"1.12.40.

Sweetest, Dear Mary!

I am writing to you only now, although I promised to do so earlier. But you'll certainly forgive me, because I'm terribly busy. I feel sad almost constantly now. I don't realise what it is. Something subconscious is gnawing at me. How are you, Maryleczka? We remembered that yesterday was Jędras' name day. It is already late, but kiss him from us. I'm not throwing a name day party this year, I have absolutely no desire to do so. Mommy was in Lwów a few days ago, seeing her aunt Jadzia. For a few days we thought we would see you soon. Mary, how are you getting on? No change for the better? But don't worry, my dear, everything will be fine. I love you, Marychna and miss you v. much. Best wishes to the Parents, Terenia, and kids.

Write us.

Kisses, your Baśka
