"Równe, 9.2.41.

Dearest, sweet Marylka!

I am replying to your card of 2.11.40. I understand and share your joy about this post. In my case, I don't think this will happen any time soon. Mary, write to me and tell me how you are doing? How are Mum, Father, Renia and the kids? Are they healthy? Is Renia learning? You have no idea[,] how I am tired of missing you, how I long for our conversations. So many things are on my mind. I've been so insanely out of control lately, [just] having hysterical attacks; I laugh and cry at the same time - I don't know[,] what it is myself. Mr. Jan hasn't yet finished that construction outside the city that I wrote you about. These days, however, he is expected to return. Perhaps this card will arrive on your Mom name day, Mary, please[,] wish her all good and beautiful things [from me], tell her that I love and respect her as much as I do my loved ones. My love, write and write again to your Barbara, who loves you so terribly. I firmly believe that we will see each other. I have so many plans for our future together. Greetings to everyone [from me]. Remember that I am constantly thinking of you. I wish you every success in your work. Lost of kisses,

Your Baśka
