"Równe, 4.3.41.
My dearest, sweetest Mary!
A second ago I received your card, written from the office. I write back [immediately] and I have this feeling as if we were talking a moment ago. After receiving your card, I immediately felt brighter, better in spirit - I am full of enthusiasm and energy. Mary, I'm exercising my strong will and I'm succeeding a little, in view of which I promise you that [whatever] conditions are, we will [definitely] see each other. Marylka, if you also believe this, nothing can resist the will of two people who love each other and who are young. I miss you so, I miss you [-] I am so alone. But it's nothing[,] Mary - we'll harden our characters, and when we meet again[,] we'll say we didn't waste our youth. You will know more practically, I will know more theoretically, but our feelings will be shared. I will write you a long letter soon. Give everyone a heartfelt kiss at home from your loving Bibi. Write to me often. I received a card from Gdynia from Niunia Królówna. Think of me and how strongly I love you I always, always will.
Your Baśka
