Lion

Chmielewska, Iwona (1960- )

Presentation of King Maciuś and the lion. The lion emerges from behind a kind of door, and the boy's head sticks out from behind a yellowed sheet of paper. At this point in the narrative, the boy begins to act: he introduces reforms, first of all, he establishes a children's parliament. In the picture, she is smiling, her front teeth are missing. In the lion's mouth, instead of teeth, there is a crown motif for the design.

At the exhibition, visitors could pull the "lion" by the tail protruding from the wall, then the sound of the animal's roar was heard.

The work functioned as a cover for the catalog from the exhibition.
