The depiction of Nalewki Street, in ink and watercolour, combined in a paracomic fashion with the written French text of a narrative (ink), six-part (numbered). As the author indicates in one of the notes (the seventh part of the narrative), right, the painting is inspired by a photograph from 1938, showing the entrances to shops on one side of the street, with various signs; 6 people are visible. Signing at the lower left of the scene:

Narrative lettering applied encircling the representation on all sides. 122 is written in pencil, in oval, at the upper edge in the middle and on a perforated card along the left edge.
