The new Jewish cemetery in Lublin

The new Jewish cemetery was established in 1829 on land outside the city limits at that time. At approximately 1839, the cemetery was surrounded by a wall. During the following years, its area was enlarged by purchasing plots of land. In 1918, a plot of land was annexed to the north, where a military cemetery was established.
