Pencil and other objects

Walentynowicz, Katarzyna (1986- )

Depictions of, among others, instruments, elements of clothing, kids toys: of a pencil with an eraser and of - smaller - shoes (an unfinished draft), cubes (one transparent, second with dark side walls), ice-skates, slippers (unfinished draft), boxes, gym balls, toys (pyramid on wheels, spinning top, ball), an opened cupboard, puddles (of ink?). Below the pencil only three black puddles, a black spinning top and a black cube with white upper wall.

The pencil is dark, it has only six white lines which suggest its angular shape.

Drawing made on reused paper – colourful imprint overleaf (a design of a name tag with the name “Zosia” on it, for the Family Education Spot).

The drawings of different instruments and toys are part of the visuals for Family Education Spot ”“U Króla Maciusia” [At King Matt’s] ” in the POLIN Museum (information plates). They were also used in the worksheet “Podróże” [Travels] in 2016 and in the educational folders for families and preschools between 2016 and 2017.
