Photograph of a Group of Children from the Otwock Orphanage (?)

part of the collection
Pamiątki po Franciszce Oliwie, wychowawczyni w Żydowskim Domu Dziecka w Otwocku

Photograph – possibly a secondary print – of a group of approximately 25 children (some heads only partially visible), most likely wards of the Otwock Orphanage (which operated until the end of 1949). The children are standing together in a group among trees (visible between the last row of children, in the background).

On the reverse of the print, there are visible traces of water damage, making it difficult to read the stamp of the Photographic Agency operating within the structure of the state-run Film Polski enterprise. Pencil inscription (number): 300/[...] (digits repeatedly overwritten and corrected: 25, 32, 33?). | PK
