Pilot's crown and a bowler hat

Chmielewska, Iwona (1960- )

The crown with aviator goggles can be seen at the top, ear muffs with parts of the chin strap protruding from under the bottom edge of the crown. Below - a crown superimposed on a black bowler hat. These are further drawings of crowns incorporated into various headgear, completing the image of Maciuś the First without a crown (MPOLIN-M426). The crowns from subsequent elements of the polyptych symbolise various industries of key importance for the functioning of the state - those of aviation and finance.
