The Pinkus tenement house is located at 1/3 Kościuszki Street (formerly Spacerowa Street). In 1894, Mieczysław Pinkus and Jakub Lende (Lande) received permission from the provincial authorities to build it. In 1896, a four-storey eclectic building with a mansard roof decorated with a galvanised helmet in the corner was erected based on a design by David Lande. It was, at that time, the tallest residential building in Łódź.
