Litauer-Schneider, Mery (1900-1992)

In the 1940s, Mery (Mary) Litauer-Schneider frequently painted landscapes, so characteristic of her art. The atmosphere of the paintings, built with colours and composition, brought the artist recognition wherever the painter would present her works. The untitled view of a seashore, with the hills visible in the distance, comes precisely from that period. It was painted in Iran or Lebanon, where the artist lived in the 1940s.
