A gift given together with a sleeping bag cover (MPOLIN-M1324/2) and an identification tag (MPOLIN-M1325) by Julian Bussgang on the occasion of his visit to Poland with the lecture "Polish Jew - Polish Soldier" (Jewish Historical Institute, 8 April 2010).

An envelope-shaped sleeping bag belonging to Julian Bussgang from his service for the Polish II Corps of the Anders Army (to learn more on the history of J. Bussgang, see "Objects belonging to Julian Bussgang from his service in the Anders Army"). Julian joined the Anders Army in Palestine and after officer training was sent to Italy, where he fought in many battles, including Monte Cassino. He was then sent to England, from where the sleeping bag with the cover probably comes from (as indicated by the writing on the object).
