Typescript copy of a document issued by the Consular Section of the Polish Diplomatic Mission in Stockholm (Polish Embassy) on 17.10.1946 (see note to MPOLIN-A47.1.7 on the history of the emigration to Canada via Sweden).

Document no: 7597; other number, transcribed at date: LB 43/46. Confirmation that a woman named Fajga Peltel, b. 11.1.1920 (passport and visa numbers also given), is Chaja Betchatowska [sic!] (“är identisk med” - is identical; consular document no. indicated: S-1039/567), and a man using the name Israel Cz[ę]stochowski [sic!], b. 1.10.1917 (passport and visa numbers also given) “är identisk med” - is identical with Boruch Szpigel (consular document no. indicated: S-1039/568).

The entire text (including the text in the original, cf. MPOLIN-A47.1.7, being the overprint of the office paper), typed, annotation at the bottom, also typed: “Rätt avskrivet itygas.” (Correctly transcribed certificate) and underneath two black signatures (apparently in the same handwriting), in the first illegible surnames, first name: Ingrid, in the second illegible first name, legible surname: Meyer. Probably the transcribers or notaries.
