In the 1960s, Aviva Blum began additional training in graphics techniques. She ultimately specialised in etching, which she successfully used both in monochrome and colour versions. She also combined it with collagraphy.

Collagraphy (also known as collagraphy or structural printmaking) involves applying various structures to a graphic plate and pressing them into the paper. By layering different materials, the print becomes almost three-dimensional. The materials the artist used to create these prints often referenced her memories of Poland, often evoking nostalgic frames depicting landscapes, as seen in this piece.
